Topic. Have you seen the new bond movie and did you like it?

I saw it the day it came out and I think it's the best bond movie ever. And while I really, really like Sean Connery as bond, I think this guy might be the best bond yet...

I liked it! But I must admit my favourite Bond is Roger Moore. The older movies just have better characters and villains in my opinion.

But this one is a big improvement over the later Bond films (that to me were more like cheesey John Wu action movies, and too formulaic). Goes to show you that the movies that are not based on Ian Flemmings stories are pants!

Oh please...that new bond actor sucks and story is bit rubbish...

oohh look at me they didnt kill me..wonder why is that instead of proper escape etc and vesper (?) gal pulls off her silly suicide and the ending..oh god..

how much more simplified and boring can you make it

Besides MGM continues with the crap baddies instead of real organised and ones with true personality like good old days.

I'm sure those real hardcore bond fans praise it but for me only plus side was no gadgets in this movie and car got wrecked

No gadgets, no real action, no random explosions, i think the most hi-tech thing in the film was the sony laptop. This is by far the worst bond film yet, the best bit was at the beginning, i wont say what happened, anyway, it just turned into a poker game, a obvious one at that (not that i have ever played poker.... uhum) WHERE were the gadgets, WHERE were the explosions, WHERE were the decent villians, and the new bond may do better if the story line was better

My favourite Bond movie is Goldeneye, by far.

It has gadgets, random explosions, a great chase scene, an original (well, kinda) villain, a very good Bond actor and a hot Dutch actress!

wow, since you complain, and worship, this movie so much, I soo have to see it! I love the danish actor, because he looks like Aragorn on King Arthur well, gotta go see that some time, and I wanna see it much more than Borat

Havent seen in. Not sure if i will bond movies for some reason have gotten very boring.
Borat i went to see... it was funny for a few days

i haven't seen it, but it sounds like this is a movie you either hate or love (like donuts from McDonald's, in the netherlands )

Donuts from McDonalds? I can't stand McDonalds, but I like donuts I hate all of the recent James bond crap, its just plain silly.

Well, I'm probably not going to see it now... But I could always rent it later, or something along those lines...

Never seen those donuts in McDonald's here really.. but I've never really paid attention to it either.

well, i just saw this movie yesterday, and i must say it's pretty awesome. definitely one of the better bond movies

then again, it's from the same director as goldeneye, so that's not surprising

I guess the reason I like this movie so much is that I like realistic (or as close as I can get) spy thrillers. This movie seemed semi-believable and showed bond as a much more down-to-earth guy (as compared to the last few movies) and yet retained it's serious/darker side (as compared to some of the middle era bonds, mainly the roger moore ones).

I loved that first scene that was in black and whilte... it sold me on the movie and the actor right then and there. and then they reinforced it with the very last scene and the last words: "Bond, James Bond."

I definately agree that there is room for improvement, the villians and plot twists in particular. But overall this was definately my favorite bond movie. I can't wait to see what they do for the next one
