I got mine earlier today, in it EA said that the third side will be revealed on December 19th in the January Edition of Games For Windows: The Official Magazine. There was also a video of the logo of the third side, I think, but as my Windows Live Mail doesn't seem to like videos I can't be sure on that. The rest was info we've heard already - C&C3 is on Xbox 360, Cast list released etc. etc.

It is also worth noting that a new podcast will be released on November 30th (read more here), and that EA have released wallpapers for GDI and Nod.

One last thing I forgot to mention: The logo appears to have changed. The + has been replaced with an ampersand (&) and the 3 has became a little more rounded. The text is also smoother. Also, the wallpapers tell us which of those Orca-like units is the Dropship, I personally thought that one was some sort of interceptor though.

I couldn't see the videos either since hotmail doesn't like it. And it figures the logo changed, I was just commenting to Hostile the other day how butt ugly the '3' was. New version looks much better in my opinion.

The Scrin:

I keep on thinking the Scrin would own gdi and nod so badly ..

amusing information

1) the scrin ship in TS was massive but the origins of the crash are random in GDI storyline. Female officer reports on the scrin ship but in mission there is nod resistance there so how come she doesn't mention it.

2) the kodiak is tiny in comparison to scrin ship in TS but in FS kodiak is even larger then scrin ship, dodgy scaling lol

I got the newsletter too. I like the new logo since it is made from original C&C stuff (nice and good classic feeling). And I wonder what the 3rd side (Forgotten if we might assume) logo would be and perhaps there would be a Scrin in final mission or something.

Finally, the secret of the Tiberium would be exposed.

It's much more likely the new side is the Scrin, considering the "and then they came" quote. Could you or anyone else who has read the newsletter post a printscreen of the new logo please? Most of us use Hotmail which can't play the video.

I meant the logo referenced in the video in the newsletter. Is that just the new C&C3 logo, or is the logo of the new side?
