Can this be done in a later iteration of this mod?

As much as I love this mod, I was hoping you can improve it in a different dimension.

First of all, is it at all possible to redesign the skirmish in-game menu such that one can set the AI difficulty for each individual comp player. So that in a skirmish, you can play a game with you+insaneAI vs 4easy + 2normalAI??

Second, if it is possible, would you consider doing this in a future iteration of this mod?

Yes not possible as far as I know BUT you can have different AI scripts playing against each other - ie. Our AI on one team and Relic's AI on the other. Larkin and Excedrin got this working awhile back.

Which is why I'm such a stickler for random AI within a threshold. So you know it's going to be "in the easy area" or "in the hard area" but not what kind of strategy it will use, or just how hard it will be.

Totally makes the AI a more interesting oppent... you think you're king until a script you've never seen before runs and you get your ass beat.

Well an AI randomizer isn't totally necessary. The AI we will provide will be random in what it does and choose multiple programs. I mean, its nice to unexpectedly figure out one of your enemy AIs was an EASY one verses its colleague which was HARD+. Its like Generals/Zero Hour. I'm indifferent to this. I like the way it is as much as I wish Relic could have coded it differently.

Um, there's a nice option in our AI control panel called teching handicap. With this setting, you can give pure AI teams and AIs allied with humans a handicap. If you + friends play against a complete AI team, this should be exactly what you want. If you + AI play vs friend + AI, then it won't help.
