This really isn't criticism, more like mod testing

Anyways, I fel the game is a litlle more sluggish, Is that just my imagination?

Also, I played on hard and I won a take-and-hold victory. I was frustrated because the enemy did not seem to prioritize taking away my critical points.

Wtih 6 min countdown, I had 3 CPs (out of total of 3), the AI took one back. The tau AI seemed to thing the job was done and let the countdown continue.

Later on, I took back that CP so I had a total of 3. When the countdown hit about 30sec, then the AI decided to send out 2 squads to decap 2 CPs. He was too late in arriving. Despite the CPs were undefended.

So what I am getting at is that the AI did not give itself enough time to decap the CPs to stop the countdown. Also the tau AI had a chaos AI ally that did not bother to decap.

I think I attached the right file.

Hmmm.. Doesn't sound like our AI (which is overly aggressive in taking points regardless of the game rules). What map was this? Was it 2vs2 T&H? What was the teams and who was the AI? Skill level? Sorry.. I am @ work presently so cannot view the replay.

As for sluggish.. again.. our fleet of testers never felt that.. you mean "game preformance" or "AI laziness"?

Great to hear you are hard at work on skirmnish AI mod 2.1 :p

The conditions were standard: Annihalate + take and hold+ control area
map: Mountain trails 2v2
AI: Hard

as for the slugishness, i meant game ran a little slower, but that was only a first impression. I'll get back to you on that after I tested it a little more and compared it to original DC.

For the game running slower, it's possible your CPU is barely at the spec DoW originally requires and that tiny bit more the AI uses is pushing it. Turn off everything running in the background (especially virus scanners like Norton that eat tons of resources).

To Malkor:

I've got:
Pentium4 3.4GHz, 1GRAM, RADEON x850 256MB

I am running the game at max graphics settings, But I'll have to test this properly later.

Razor - yeaa thats my old computer I used to have. I expect DC to run slower on it since he has more gfx than even WA. Adding the Advanced AI intrduces more load for the CPU and thus more work for everything else. Makes sense - more lines of code - more the AI is doing. Might want to drop some grapihic settings and check nothing is running in your startup, services.. U defrag regularily?

My athlon 2500 handles it just fine. Even with fraps recording.

The only complaint I have experienced with the 2.0 DC AI Mod so far was when my AI ally built their Machine Shop right in front of the path blocking the exitway and gate out of our bases to the outside world.

That Chaos Machine Shop was eventually destroyed by the enemy, thankfully, letting us all out to fight, but it slowed down the game quite a bit while I and the AI ally waited for it to be cleared.

It was of course so noticeable that I found my mind complaining, a rare thing with this AI Mod, actually finding a complaint! At least the AI now builds buildings and makes tanks. There was no chance of Relic's DC AI ever blocking a passageway or an exitway, because the Relic AI only built one tenth the base that the AI Mod AI does.
