Sea Serpent Help

Ok, the sea serpent is basically a wyrm, but that moves around in the water.
How can I make it so that (with normal animations intact) it works on the water instead of on land?

Haha Lauri, that was uberly helpful ;)

You need a locomotor with this flag:
Surfaces	= WATER DEEP_WATER
Take a look at existing ship locomotors and see if you can't use one of them...

But be aware of the fact that DEEP_WATER doesn't exist in BFME1, only WATER :)

yes it actually is possible. And if you look in Mordor's file in WB (BFME1) they have a corsair ship in that's useable.

Yes ofcourse it is. How do you think expansions is doing it :p

yes it actually is possible. And if you look in Mordor's file in WB (BFME1) they have a corsair ship in that's useable.


I dont think that actually works. Could be wrong though.... Also needs a skin.

Well I made a map once just to use the corsair ship (in a giant river through the middle) and they had a skin and worked. Def not as good as the bfme2 version obviously. The corsair ship also fires either a fire arrow or a fireball. I kinda liked it :p

Wierd as far as i know it didnt have a texture.

EDIT: Checked in the textures folders/bigs and i see no texture forit. I also checked on the model it says the texture is lm_corsair.tga wich doesnt exist.

I just opened the map that had the ships and now it's saying that the CorsairBoat is a missing unit... wtf? :p

Nope, or I don't think so at least. I'm pretty sure I didn't have any mods at all when I made the map. Maybe I messed the ini up a little? :p I don't really care about it though cuz I was just using the boat as an example to show there can be ships in bfme1 :shiftee:
