Does CNC3 force pixel shaders?

My largest concern is stability. Generals and BFME1&2 multiplayer are plauged with Missmatch errors and problems with the AI scripts.
I've seen a few times mentions of improved scripts and support, thats encouraging... But what about the Missmatch errors? Have they REALLY resolved this?

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

We'll only know it next month. When I played the game against Hostile at EALA, there were far too many mismatch and other random errors, which was natural to an alpha, unfinished version....
