As grim said you change it in each map. Edit > Map Settings > MinHeight/ Max Height Etc.

BFME? this should be moved then, but if you mean BFME2 you can do it in Gamedata.ini

I'm pretty sure you can do it with gamedata.ini in BFME1.

Playing games? Ah, you'll never be a good modder if you get involved in actually playing them!

;------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
;These are the primary camera settings
;****CHANGING ANY OF THESE VALUES WILL AFFECT CINEMATICS*****
;------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DefaultCameraMinHeight = 120.0;The minimum height of the camera relative to the terrain.
DefaultCameraMaxHeight = 300.0;The maximum height of the camera relative to the terrain.
DefaultCameraPitchAngle = 37.5;The pitch angle of the camera off top down view.
DefaultCameraYawAngle = 0.0;The direction the camera faces by default.
DefaultCameraScrollSpeedScalar	= 1.0;How much faster or slower all scrolling is.

I think that's it, although I've never edited it myself.

I've changed it to this.
DefaultCameraMinHeight = 80.0;The minimum height of the camera relative to the terrain.
DefaultCameraMaxHeight = 900.0;The maximum height of the camera relative to the terrain.

Maybe the DefaultCameraMaxHeight have a to heigh value.

The height is way to high,
mine is like 450, but thats it, and it works fine...
It works in most maps, except for like fortress maps and new maps, where u have to change the values in the actual map file...
otherwise, gamedata works for everything...
and yeah... 900 is tooo much
