Hey I just finished two new maps. Please Enjoy.

NOTE: I just finished Assault, and THOUGHT I had it scripted properly.....but fate would seem to be unhappy with me. My intention was to have a 3 vs 1 map where the three at the bottom assault the guy on the top. The main problems I cannot figure out why there is the problem is the skirmish AI doesnt do anything (even though I have put in the skirmish players) and only you (being the player) can get the defensive buildings. The computer cannot be given all of the defense that I set up to make it a bit more difficult.
Another NOTE: I am afraid that this will be a big project, so I am asking that if you choose to accept the challenge of fixing to work as fast as you can, but I understand that it will take a while.

Thanks so much.Attached File  Assault.zip   20.94KB   76 downloads

Thank you Bismark, but I have already done what that link says to do. The effect is still the same. Thank you again for your help.

did you set up the inner and outer perimeters? What about the 3 attack paths? or the combat zone? all of these can keep the AI from working.

I haven't looked at both maps, but I did take a look at the map called 'Assault', and I found one problem. You didn't define your waypoint paths.

Please read the second part of the post I sent you previously:
http://forums.revora...p...st&p=394965

You need:

✯ Center Path. The center path defines the most direct, obvious route into a base. The path must be
named, “CenterPathX” for start location #X. On the easiest difficulty setting, the initial attack usually
comes from this route.

✯ Flank Path. The flank path defines the secondary route into a base. The path must be named, “FlankX”
for start location #X.

✯ Backdoor Path. The backdoor path defines the least obvious and often the most vulnerable route into
the base. The path must be named, “BackdoorPathX” for start location #X. On the hardest difficulty
setting, the initial attack may come from this route.

As for all those EMP patriots that you want to put in and transfer to the AI player, it will not work in multi-player skirmish maps. There is a way to do it in single player mission maps, but your map is not of that type.

Also, for future reference, I've been told that if you make a script for a map that uses the <Local Player>, or <This Player> commands, the script will not work if you intend to use your map for online games. So, use these commands for single player skirmish or mission maps only.

I have not tried out the map yet (assault), but plan to later on, to see if i can help you turn it into a single-player map. I know some about AI (my AI Tester) and once i can get them to build and send multiple waves (or waves on 3 seperate paths) i can help you out. I have figured out the supply thing for GLA tho. If you want the GLA to gather supplies, create a team called 'Workers' and have it 'MIN 5' and 'MAX 5' of 'Nothing' for it to work. You may also wanna set up a single waypoint near the supply source named 'Workers' and have it set up so the team goes there once created, so they begin gathering there. In Battle for the Mountains, I have it set up for 2 supply points, with a team called 'Workers 1' and 'Workers 2', and each has its own respective waypoint near a different supply source.
