Not really, it would require re-animating of the uruks in order to make it look good. Plus I'd rather see the Dunlendings as the shield-bearing units for Isen.

Playing games? Ah, you'll never be a good modder if you get involved in actually playing them!

Yeah. Uruks didn't usually use shields in the movies because their broadswords required both hands for more power.

Quoted for the truth. ;)

Also, there are a couple of references in the movies where they bear shields: the scene where they were carrying up the battering ram,and the bit where Gimli says to Theoden '...these are Uruk-Hai; their shields broad, and their armour thick...' or something like that. Apart from that, they didn't have any.

...The Journey doesn't end here; death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass. And then you see it. White shores...and beyond. A far green country, under a swift sunrise...

...Many folk like to know beforehand what is to be set on the table; but those who have laboured to prepare the feast like to keep their secret; for wonder makes the words of praise louder...

...Stand, Men of the West! Stand and wait! This is the hour of doom... ~ Gandalf the White, The Return of the King

I agree :p , the Dunlandings (or whatever) should be the shield-bearers of Isengard...are they going to be in the final product??? :)

Well, apart from adding Grima, Isengard won't have more changes, I guess.

Meh, I'm hoping Cel can do some work on FoD once his Elves are nearly perfected and he has some time for a "FoD patch."

actually the Uruk Hai did have shields, 2 types some had small shields on their forearms and others had large shields remember the Helm's Deep battle where they form the Tortoise formation. But this is totally to Cel's discetion.

To end the whole argument, the uruks have shields in bfme2, so Cel won't put them in
