Editing Build Times

How would I edit build times for the rebel frigates, fighters,corvettes and mon calamari cruisers within the XML files?

I edit the squadren.xml for the fighters as a test and it never changes the build time ingame. Same with all the other types of ships.

I have the edited xml files ina Folder name XML in the gamedata/data directory.

What am I doing wrong here?

I just have all the original XML files. I copied the ones with the build times like squadrens.xml and so on. And then i set all the build times to 1 and put the files in a folder called XML in the data folder.

Are you testing it on galatic conquest or skirmish? There is a difference between both. The skirmish settings are more in the middle of the file.

im testing on skirmish, but i dont know where the build times for it would be if i've been doing the wrong ones. Could someone please make a guide or something about this :wub:

Finally I have done it! I needed to change the multiplayer values aswell, thanks everyone :wub: I've not made two instant build mods ;)

I've now got two instant build mods made, one for rebels, one for empire. Now I ust need to know what file I edit to increase the population cap for Land and Space battles in skirmish.
