yer I was a little bit off when I wrote those probebly due to the fact that it was 2:30 in the morning

but esentually they are all true.

I might have made a mistake about the times with billgates and the time from the sun, as I calculated both of those as a bit of fun, and it was a long time ago (like 4 years) so I might have remembered the units of time wrong, but I know with bill gates it was a ridiculasly short amount of time, just gothte calulator out...

now we know bill gates was the only trillionair in recorded history
so asuming a generation lasts 70 years and that bill himself had anothr 30 years to go (I think he's about 40 isn't he?)

1000000000000/(30+70+70) = 5,882,352,941

5,882,352,941/365.25 = 16 million

hmm, I guess I was wrong in my calcs, I'll change it to 16 million a day

as for the world thing, the world has a population of arround 6 billion, so it's probebly closer to say he cold give arround 166.6* I was a bit over stated there, but thats still a hell of a lot of money. I'll change both.

and yer I did say it had a brain of sorts, I implied as strongly as I could that it was not exactly a large one, if it proccesses it can be called a brain, same as the CPUs we put in computers are called brains, no matter how small they are.

the insects having multiple central nervus systems I can verify that, was in several weird fact books
I sat there and counted the legs on a millipede a while ago because I was bored. the millipede was in a glass display case, dead.

the large canser was in the guiness book, which listed the actual size but I couldn't remember it, but I do know that it was roughly the size of a newborn child by comparing it in the photo to the women.

with the spiders etc breathing through their skin, most books on arachnids will tell you that

turtles breathing through there asses is a nifty fact a vet told me when we got a turtle some time ago, I'd assume he knew what he was talking about.

I read about the chocolate in a book examining sociopsycology or something like that, about a month ago, might have been mistaken for one of the other hormones mentioned but I don;t think so.

about plastic and the skin, thats not such a well known fact, but it does, however it would probebly take several years (like 40) to produce anything cancer-like, in a similar fashion to people finding bleach causes cancer in rats.

with the most active volcano bit, I read that in a kids volcano book when I was 9, I remember because I thought the idea of a volcano going off once an hour or something was cool (I can't rememeber if it actuially goes off that frequently)

the reason latin american is taight intead of traditional spanish is because latin american is spoken by all of south america exept brazil, traditional spanish is spoken only in spain and another country which is even smaller.

the french fries and the hamburger one have been cerculating the net one weird facts emails for years.

Sorry to put a damper on your fact, but bill gates (nor anyone for that matter) ever game close to being a trillionaire.

From wikipedia:

Forbes magazine's list of The World's Billionaires has ranked him as the richest person on earth for the last thirteen consecutive years, with a current net worth of approximately $53 billion.

The rest of your facts I know nothing about so ill assume most of them are true :p

And I believe Rawlo refers to the superior colliculus, which is responsible for the 'blindsight' initial processing of visual stimuli. Indeed, the retina is also capable of very basic processing, albeit nothing particularly above negligible.

However, some insects do indeed have multiple nervous systems, and spiders (as well as some insects) breath through their skin and possess no lungs.
