I wouldn't really like it if the walls had countess buildplots on either side. But the first option (upgrading to buildplots) i kinda like. :xcahik_:

Well, I know this is an old topic, but I thought I'd add this here. I finally got a complete mordor wall system up and running. I'm including it in this week's update, but I thought I'd add it to this post. Among the things included:

- wall hub (damage states and buildups)
- wall segments (damage states and buildups)
- catapults (w/ damage states)
- gate (new up/down animation and damage states)
- wall tower (damages states)

also, I've added the Morgul sorcery upgrade to all objects. The only thing left to do is finish my snow texture and bibs/floors.

So here we go:

You really are a talented man, hehe!

Strange to see that we have been working on the same thing at the same time; except you went the whole nine yards!!

Hehe, thanks. I've been wanting to do this for some time, to use this as a learning project for me and once I got the re-mapping all figured out this was #1 on my list to do.

ummmm not to be an idiot but wouldnt it have been easier to just take like dwarven walls, add them to the mordor files and then add the Dol Goldur textures and stuff onto the already made walls?

Wouldn't work
a) catapults on wall would fire from both sides in sted of the top (I think)
b) postern gates dont exist on dol-guldor map
c) we wold still have the old 95o out problem

 lol

Isn't that a bit biast considering you'r a NAZGUL

Few years ago(approx.5-6 years ago) I was playing the game a lot and during the evil campaign when finally the turn had come for me to play mordor I was shocked and disappointed at the sametime that mordor didn't have any walls. Then I remember I was looking for a mod which added walls to mordor and I remember having found this very thread :) and eventually downloading the mod itself and playing with it.I specificially loved how morgul sorcery upgrade effected the walls both visually and stats wise. And in my opinion,it totally fit in with the rest of the game perfectly.

However I can't find the file or download anymore anywhere.. I wonder if it's lost to history forever? Or is there anyway I can find the file and enjoy mordor walls again ? (too bad I couldn't preserved the one I had :( ) Thanks in advance.

I know it has been stated as RJ mod but where exactly it is and what's its full name?Ok nevermind actually found the mod itself RJ stands for Robert J. silly me lol.The odd thing is I don't having used this mod while I used the mordor walls years ago in a mod but I am sure it is not that one.
