Well i have some ideas for gondor and rohan

Rohan

1. add erkenband,theodred,hama,elfham ect

2. give armer upgrades to theoden like level 1 normal clothes level 5 changes to armor

3. give merry rohan armor

4. in the books( or movie) gambling used a bow and sword

5. as sporting1986 said" give the rohirim shield upgrade"

Gondor

1. give pipen a gondor armor upgade

2. add the other ithilin rangers( damrod ect)

3. give aragorn mount(if he will be put in gondor)

4. give some heros new armor



Please remember that these are ideas and are nothing more.
you do not have to use them.

put shields in the rohirim and put them the shield improve just like bfme1

Horse shields are planned for release three :p

As for the other Ideas, I will take them into serious consideration. After I get #2 out, I will start making some more major improvements to the existing factions. Release 2 is mostly a bug fix. And yes, this is the right forum ;)

Hopefully within the next 2 weeks, but I make no promises. I am addressing the bugs one by one, the hardest part will be configuring all of the fortress maps to be compatible with the Rohan faction (the Worldbuilder lags up my computer).

Yes, world builder is a thing that lags computer

Maybe you can copy the Men of the west code and use it for rohan(for fortress maps)

Its not code, its scripts in conjunction with map.ini. Its not too hard, I just have to dedicate an hour per 2 maps to doing it.

Ihave some ideas about your mod in case adding new units and heroes to the existing factions.
----------Rohan----------
1.Guardians of westfold
-elite archers for rohan
-12 by scuad
-have stronger attack then Dunadain rangers but lower health
-Special ability(of yours decision)
2.Rohan trebuchet
-as Gondor trebuchet but with other texture
3.remove entmoot beckoas it's makes no sance
4.Add rohan siege works from which trebuchet can be build
5.Make Royal guards a hero-horde wick can mount dismount
-make them stronger then Knights of dal-amroth
----------Gondor----------
1.Guardians of citadel equal to the original rohirrim riders but with another texture(balance quastion)
----------Elves----------
1.Hourns -small ents horde
----------Dwarves----------
1.Mayby some cavallary unit

Well, I don't do "Mini-Factions". Everyone else is doing them, I'm trying to stay at least a little bit unique. In release 5, I will be releasing the Arnor and Harad factions. More info on those two later. Because I am releasing Arnor, Elendil and Isildur won't be joining Gondor any time soon. Imrahil might make a scene in the mod, because I took all of Gondor's Horse Buffing Heroes away (aka Theoden and Eomer). Helm Hammerhand will not be making an entrance, he wasn't part of either Angmar's rise or the War of the Ring. Instead of Arnor, I might just throw in a "Last Alliance" faction, I'm still thinking about it. In release three I'll give the Dwarves and Elves some much needed attention, along with wall towers/seigetypething for elves and Isen. Durin is a bit out of place, so don't expect to see him, but Balin will probably get in. Remember, I can't model units so all my new things are donated. I can however model buildings, so expect to see some new versions of those in the near future. I will try to get a basic concept for the Haradrim Fortress released soon (need to finish release 2 and three before worrying about release five :D).

EDIT: Ok, here is the reply to the guests post (sorry for not replying earlier!): Guardians of Westfold: Great Idea! I'll definately be adding in some elite archers soon ;) Rohan seige works: Yes this is coming. I will remove the ents and stick in a rohan battering ram and some version of ranged seige. Problem is sticking to Tolkien lore, where the Rohirrim don't seem to have any real type of seige weapons... Guardians of the Citadel: I will just buff up the Dol-Amroth knights if there is a balance issue :p Royal Guards: Sorry, I would have done this if not for complications of mounting hordes. It turns out that hordes simply cannot use the mount code. Sorry, but is an engine limitation :( Hourns: Possibly, but I have heard of complications with ent hordes. I'll look into it. Dwarven Cavalry: Looking into it. All your ideas for Isen are superb, I'll see which ones I can implement.

i heard a rumor that the rohirrim could have some horns,is that true or is just a rumor??if it is true maybe you could put it in your new version

Well this can be used as a summon power or units for arnor.

The fleet brought a great army led by Earnur, the son of King Earnil II of Gondor, as well as cavalry that included horsemen from Rhovanion. They joined forces with the remaining Dunedain of the North and the Elves of Lindon led by Cirdan to form the Host of the West. Some archers from the Shire accompanied them.

Hi i agree with you adding rohan but why not then make dol amroth a minifaction for gondor they could have the prince imrahil also they could have knights and swordsmen ?? and for elves you could add ellada and ellhroir is it unsure ?? they could be like a hero unit together because they never leave each other??. also maybe you could add the balrog for goblins beacause there both in the mines together anyway but u could also weaken him a bit to balance it. I also would like to see all 9 Nazguls because it would be great attacking with them all and for witch king you could have at like level 1 he is a normal nazgul but at level 5 he gets the armor and mace thought it might be good.
