I took it out of the campaign because I didn't want Mirkwood Scouts showing up at like Minas Tirith and the Black Gate... But it seems that the Scouts will follow you out of Mirkwood anyway... Bleh, I think I'll still leave it out.

Don't give Legolas Summon Scouts ability - it doesn't suit campaign and Legolas might be too overpowered.

Cel should give Gimli a new power for skirmish. Because he is just never used in Rohan... :(

I use him all the time, and what power would suit him?

Yay, let's have a dwarf somehow magically throw several axes (that were hidden in his pocket) at the enemy at once. Arrow storm is bad enough from a realism point of view, axe storm would just be off the charts crazy :p

Ahaha , Axe storm. *tear*
Sorry but ,, really that's just as unrealistic as the axethrowers in BFME2 .
Is that 100 axes in your pocket or are you just happy to see me.

Hmm...he have santa's pocket. Than give him armor upgrade or Balin's Axe (100% attack- passive).

Do you use him against a decent player in 1v1 matches or do you mean on comp stomps? Because he is useless in 1v1s until maybe late game when you're cash floating and you have time to let him rank up on his own.

I use him all the time, and what power would suit him?

Me 2...he owns legolas with slayer or axe throws...If what power...hmm...armour upgrade or axe storm like legolases arrow storm!

The only hero I think Gimli owns is hobbits. He is too slow and has too few powers to be useful in a real game.

Than give him armor upgrade or Balin's Axe (100% attack- passive).

This would be great. Give it him at rank 4 and Gimli would probably be useful.

^^Hence I think Balin's Axe would be a good power. He should also rank up a little fast imo because it takes a long time to get him to rank 7 and that's the point where Gimli is really in his element. Gimli at rank 3 is still good against all factions because he can knock over archers and horses so the rest of your Rohan army can kill them when they're on the ground.

Oh yeah, I forgot that slayer/leap have been moved to different levels. I used him a lot on patch 1.02 though, normally my third hero (after Merry and Lego)

Elvish Grudge
Slays all elves 1 hit...

^^lol! (it's an interesting idea, but I don't think Legolas will approve of him killing his cousins :p)...

Axestorm? What the hell? Anyway, I'll have to go with Balin's Axe, but that will be a bit too overpowering (Slayer+Balin's Axe=annihilation). Maybe drop it down to 75% damage or something, or even drop down Slayer?

(can't quote properly at the moment, so I'll just point at posts).

To Lauri: I have Haldir with over 1000 kills and Gamling is around 900. Gandalf is getting there too now that I have WoP. Gimli is next with around 800 something.

To the Durin's Axe ability: +100% is insanely overpowering. That DOUBLES his damage, making him deal more damage that most heroes can with their Bladesmaster-type abilites... And that's PASSIVE. I can't even imagine that plus Slayer (btw, I just noticed the ridiculous running speed he gets when using that ability. Patch 1.03? That's getting axed)... If I give Gimli a new ability, it will not be something passive like that.

Durin's axe is a better name than Balins :p

and I still have, 7 maps to go before the campaing is finished, and I think Haldir's in Legolas' hairlocks.... and Gamling, he's on foot mostly, but now I've just buildt up an mounted army, cause it's cooler when Rohan  but Isen always had pikes, and I can't take Rhun with Rohan :p
