Both of these were made with ease, heres how:
- Open up PaintShopPro, make a new 500x100 image (or whatever size you want) (file > new).
- Find a good background image. It needs to tile well. For this guide im using a HL1 background:
- Next you need a foreground image. Make a new raster layer (layers > new raster) at 80% optacity. Make sure you're foreground image will fit ;)2 . Paste it in.
- Next you need to make the sides of the foreground look good. Make another raster layer. Sclect a small section to the side of the foreground imgae:
Now you need to fill this area with something like this:
Fill the selected area with the gradient.
Now it looks like this:
This real just a cheaters way to a good image ;)2
