"The three hunters"+Halbarad+30 dunedain= The way it was in the book, also they could be fully upgraded, I don't see much point in having Dunedain who die in three seconds either.

Well if so many people like the Dunedain, they might as welll make an appearence in the campaign even though they did die straight away.

I *really* hope that when you said "even though they did die straight away" you meant "even if the modders lowered their stats to the point that they'd have weak light armour and would surely die after a few hits" and not "even if they did die straight away in the books".

No I meant that even though the Dunedain are the finest soldiers of the West, eventually the sheer number of orcs would overwhelm them. But I didn't really mean that previous sentance.

maybe you could increase the armor just for the campaigns, cause according to the books, they should be elite fighters, and shouldn't die fast to some orcs, but in skirmish they would be OP then, so adding armor for just the campaign would be cool I guess.

Well, they can recieve the heavy armor upgrade, albeit at the cost of their stealth. Still useful though.

That's what I meant by fully upgraded: heavy armor, forged blades, the whole enchilada :p . I mean will you really need stealth in a full blown battle? :p

I don't think it's possible to remove the armor after, so if it's a great battle, and your numbers are few, and your expecting a new attack, you'd need new dunedain\rangers ^_^

wherever you use them  remember, their a part of the Dunedain MF, and if you upgrade them with HA there to fight a battle, and you loose, you can't (I think) upgrade them again with Stealth and remove the HA

I wasn't referring to MT in any way... ;)

well i think that it depends on how the campaign system is going to work. will there be a fixed storyline, or will it be like in bfme ie (fighting in harad and rhun even when the army of the west never actually ventured there to fight). I mean if the good campaign in RA will allow u to attack other parts of middleearth where they never actually did in real lore, then i dont see no reason why morgul should be excluded

It wasn't in the original game though, and since there wasn't a battle there in the storyline then making a Minas Morgul mission doesn't seem such a good idea, given the content of the mod so far.

...The Journey doesn't end here; death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass. And then you see it. White shores...and beyond. A far green country, under a swift sunrise...

...Many folk like to know beforehand what is to be set on the table; but those who have laboured to prepare the feast like to keep their secret; for wonder makes the words of praise louder...
