Just writing a plan for my planned mod, but have a few questions relating to possibilities within the game engine. I know not much has been seen, but I have been quite busy recently so haven't had a chance to look up everything. It's possible that some of my questions have been answered already; I just haven't seen it...

Anway, on with the list. I may add things later if I think of them, but for the moment:

1. Is it possible to make 'indoor' maps, eg. the Moria level from BFME?

2. Objectives in skirmish/multiplayer maps, ie. plays like normal campaign mission but with humans controlling both/3 sides?

3. Adjustment of faction build/special abilities depending on skirmish map, ie. can build certain units in one map but not others?

4. EMP, is it back? Preferably in ZH form, with all values (duration, AoE, etc.) controllable.

5. Can you charge the player for using a 'Generals ability' (ie. paradrop)

1. I don't think so, unless you fool the user by messing up with global lighting.

2. You might be able to write scripts for it, but players still need to destroy all enemy units to win.

3. If that's allowed in Generals, you'll be able to do it in C&C3 too.

4. There is a tech building that will fire EMP.

5. I think this is one of the new features from C&C3.

Thanks! Hmm... I think I'll just finish writing my mod plan, and include all the features I would like to have. If it turns out they can't be done when the game comes out, I'll have to change it then

You'll definately be able to do custom victory conditions, unless they removed most of their scripting system...

You can set any condition you want pretty much to call victory for a player, a timer, units in an area, units seen, camera finished moving, units finished moving... all sorts

min vän, som jordens konung ska du hyllas
men du är också man, och det är mer."
