Okay... I took a map buried in RA2's files, Glasnost, and I redid the ore, starting positions and a few other things but now it bombs during loading. Any ideas on this?

Map is attached if you want to take a look.

Interesting. It crashed my computer (without any mods), my brother's, my friend's and a few other people's computers so there was an issue. Zee and I worked it out last night though so everything's all good.

For whatever reason, RA2 didn't like the dimensions. It was 150x150 so we knocked it back to 149x149 and magically, it worked.

RA2 might have its own properly working limit and above that can get buggy. CnCVK may have increase that limit or something? Final Alert 2 probably has 200x200 because thats damn huge and not many people would want to go beyond that imo.

It's not so much a size limit as it is a transfer limit. You only have 1400 KB, if I'm remembering right, to transfer. If your map is big in file size and too many people need it, the connection times out.

Its more a limit on the time you have to transfer the map to the other players. On broadband, you will be able to send much bigger maps than if you were on dialup.
