save your map as:
C:\Documents and Settings\Your username\My Battle for Middle-earth II Files (may not be the exact phrase)\Maps\mapname\mapname.map
the name of the map and the directory it's in, must be exactly the same
also, the settings in your map should be correct. for that i refer you to the official tutorials

I DId that but it still didnt work and what kind of file do you save it as please help aand are there spaces please respondSOMeone please tell me how to load your made map into the game

i got da problem to but you have make the starting postsions if y not make them than that is the problem

lol i tried tow add my map on BFME2 but if i look into the game at the skirmish window i look tow maps but i see only standard maps and no maps that i made.
does someone hase a solution???

have exaxtly the same problem, i can even open a working map, try to save it with a new name, and it just wont show in the choose map screen!!

there should be a little window above the map choices that says "official maps"
click on it then select "user made maps"
