Yeah those were the days... when I was working on QFME with KOU. QFME, another mod project any n00b could have come up with. And it got hosted. T3A sure was desperate back then :)

Yeah, you could perhaps say that I had a certain influence...

[attachment=23406:viking_arms.jpg]
I have 4 dudes aswell, but not rendered....

What I'll do about it all, I'm not sure... When I started I intended to make a simple viking soldier with a shield and an axe, simple really basic skins so a community mod modder could make a real skin for it, but eh... I got to attached... :xd: Nothing's made from scratch though, err, skin-wise...
However, then as I got to attached to it, I wanted to make my own viking mod (aka, add vikings into the current game), since when I make something, I don't like to part from it, and especially not when I want to make the rest of the soldiers as well... Which again, means, that if I give it to the community mod I'll probably want to make all the units for vikings, and thus new guys can't make new vikings, since I've practially done it all...
So what to do? I don't have faith in the community project, but I'll gladly give them to the project, if I see some good progress ;)
But I don't want to give them now, no, not yet... I'd rather hang on to them and not use them at all for now...

Yeah, there's some artist "copyright" madness... :p

Anyhows, what'cha think?

Looks great. :p

Well, hopefully we CoPro will make some progress soon... At least, I'll be home tomorrow and can start setting up my modding stuff again. Which means... Sometime next week I may be able to have a model ready or something, even, depending on how busy I am and how high of a priority it is. I do have my own mod... or, er, well it probably can't really be considered a mod yet since it's mostly code work and the only new models are ones I've chopped off T3A :p but I am going to start working on that again next week, too, after about a month of not getting any work done, except for a little skinning and my own lazy attempt at a model.

But as I said, sometime soon I'm gonna get to work. I was gonna try my hand at a Hoplite anyway, since that's what's been assigned, which wouldn't interfere with any Vikings you've already made, if your gonna donate them.
Greetings, community.

Baha, good stuff. I detect ambient occlusion, wonder where that came from :mellow: . With models that have this low a polycount, it's not usually the best approach... but it worked reasonably well here!

Are those modded Boromir animations you're using?

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

Perhaps you could make the head crest a little more... well accurate?

Posted Image

Other then that, it is fantastic. Well skinned, and a very good choice of animations (of course with quite a bit of tweaking and a few new animations made)
