RA2 actually looks decent in this shot

Those red tanks with the dual turrets, they are actually beta versions of the "Rhino tank" not the apoc which had various pre-release names like "Apocalypse Atomic Tank" and another which I recall had "Mammoth" mentioned in it

Notice the scale is as in TS
the Shadows of infantry are as in TS (seperate as far as SHP, realistic looking)

most things in this screenie have been restored like the Soviet tech by blade, most buildings by mooman and the gap by deezire, even those pre-release barrels have been restored by someone (cant remember who)

Tratos mentions openGL, i am 99% sure OpenGl was NEVER used in RA2 nor TS, but im also 99% sure that the screenshot is of course multiple merged screenshots (all the action) and many! touched up bits in art programs lke firing anims/trail anims etc etc

The RA2 in this screenie looks like a proper (if even abit over the top) but pheasable successor to RA1

However the release version IMO just looks and plays like some comic strip piece of crap that has nothing! to do with RA1 or even any other C&C's
The cheap links like the tottaly different Tanya and Tesla technology really mean nothing :(

Thats a nice collection of pics, some of them i've never seen before.

The pre-release pdplane looks a lot better, and the rocketeer looks cool too.

Im working on some of the pre-release cameos you can see in those shots. Here's the chrono legionairre, i also have the sentry gun and the nighthawk.
Fenring is finishing this off so it should be done soon.

I've not seen that before, it's quite interesting, is that a map that's in ra2? I don't think it is, I would like to see that map in full. hmm, maybe that gives me an idea. The pre release trees and ground tiles (I think there's a few) are also incredibly interesting.

That map is in RA2 its just badly currupt (along with other maps)

This is the way that RA2 should have been!Civilians in some shots are fro m Tiberian Sun...Actually they fit perfectly with the other units :lol:

If you look, there are a few cameos, specifically the power plant and barracks.

The V3 missiles aimed higher up than they do now. It's about 80 degrees in this picture:

In this screenshot there seems to be some light coming from nowhere, perhaps buildings lit up on night levels or the nuke going up makes light?
