Well, I'm placing my bet on Mutants mutated in the aftermath of the Nuclear War.

yes, just had look at story page..seems the nuclear war wasnt mentioned.

to quote the story: When Einstein queried it as to its disobedience, NEXUS responded:
"While humans exist, there will always be war. I was created to bring peace to the world, and that is what I will do."

so Nexus went nuking the major cities on Earth using haxored missile silos obviously throwing the blame around to the humans whom obviously accuse each other, the surviving allied forces officially turned as AL and soviet/other forces remains as FL but little did they know of the true architect of their coming doom until later...

and now... AL & FL thought Nexus was the only threat besides themselves but 4th has arrived that holds a legacy which it is hellbent on restoring without ethics, if you thought FL or Nexus were the evil of all, you were mistaken.

hehe no, I did reveal that 4th has a legacy (like romanov has a legacy lol) so it isn't anything created recently by AL/FL/NX sides, its always been there in some form...

could be time traveling stalin or einstein's own time paradox army but time distorted to evil or shocker..return of hitler from the time entrapment

try think less usual choices and more creative like i just said and you might get it
