[Phoenix Rising]

I couldn't find a pinned topic for this, so I'm posting a new one. Anyways, in an effort to boost forum use, I was hoping to get a few more sub-forums added besides just news and the generic one. My base forums are here. This is what I was thinking of adding:

General Discussion
Talk about everything related to Phoenix Rising here!

Community Suggestions
What would you like to see in Phoenix Rising?

Bug Reporting
The place to post bugs and balance issues with Phoenix Rising.

Star Wars Discussion
Including canon debate and technical discussion.

If the base forum could also be locked for posting too, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Just wondering... imagine if every mod here has their offtopic forum and game discussion forum... would anyone use the main forums for that? Do you want also editing forums?

True enough. I was designing from a standalone perspective. Those two can be axed.

Although, what do you think? Is EaW discussion different enough? It's not really meant to be about modding...

Petrolution also has a forum to discuss EAW. Regarding the editing forums, it was a kinda of joke, so you would have a complete EAW community at PR forums.

Anyway, in a serious note, I've created some of the forums requested above, except for the offtopic one and EAW one.

No, I think that's good. I mean, I would rather have a few forums that are used often than some that are empty. I'll bother you about the bug one when I get closer to a release. Thanks, Banshee.

Oh, one more thing. Is it possible to lock the base forums, or is it too late for that? Otherwise I'll just have to move anything that gets posted there.

Hey, sorry to bother you again, but now that it's more than just me on the team, we're quickly finding out that PMs are becoming tedious. We really could use a private team forum that's hidden from the public. Something like:

Phoenix Rising Team
Private forum for team discussion.

I don't really care what it's called, as long as regular members can't access it (ideally can't even see it). Also, jdk002 and myself will need to be added to the necessary permission groups.

Speaking of groups, I've been meaning to ask something for a while, so I'll just do it here. I have a couple posters who are still listed as "Validating E-Mail". They said they've followed the e-mail link, but without success, so I said I would bring it up. Names are Pred the Penguin and Ghostrider. Thanks in advance.

Turns out Banshee was right and the Star Wars forum didn't really take off like I wanted it to. I've emptied all of its topics into other forums and would appreciate it if an admin could delete it. Less is more. Thanks in advance.
