I've got a lovely new case. It has two 120mm fans. These two fans connect to four prong power supply plugs, not the little things on the motherboard which are labeled CASFan1, etc. I'm pretty sure they're not running, even though they're plugged directly into my power supply. Now the question is, how do we get them running?
I'm pretty sure they need to be hooked up to the motherboard, but there's no slot for the power line. The four prong plug is only an adaptor, it looks like the original pins are just covered by a plastic piece at a junction where one cable ends and the other begins. I've tried to separate it so I can use the fans normally by plugging them into the normal slot, but the piece won't come off.
Any ideas?

Hmm so you've connected them to the molex connections, they should just work regardless of the motherboard. Personally I've never bothered with two case fans, I just put a bigass 120 mm at the front cooling the hard drive.
