Although the waiting took a week longer than expected, EA launched the CNC3 demo on February the 26th. A day earlier Predator had already confirmed this on the EA forums and in the European night the demo was finally launched. Offcource CNC3.net was constantly covering the happenings, and since the demo is now loaded, this newspost will now serve as a page to find mirror links to the download, among this is the cnc3.net sister site cnc3files.com. A full list of mirrors can be found below:

C&C is officially back tomorrow as the demo for Command &# 38; Conquer 3 will be going live on our official site at www.commandandconquer.com AND EA LINK, as well as FilePlanet.com whom we know many of you have already pre- loaded with. Keep your eyes peeled on both sites for the moment the file is live, tomorrow is the day!

More likely several hours afaik, so about tomorrow when you can play it (after the downloading). Still, I look forward to it. If I can drag my little brother off his pc to play it.. (sister's gfx card isn't good enough, my new rig won't arrive till next week).

Well the site i got the info from said tomorrow. Predator posted the topic on 5am today, but im not sure in what timezone. So though it's probably tonight, he might've meant the 27th (ie tomorrow)

We'll just have to wait and see (and hope for more mirrors to go up)

The information I've got says today. If he posted it at 5am it was probably around 9pm the day before for him (as he's on GMT -8).

They were releasing it in EA link as well. A few sites suggested that it would be released right around now (noon PST).

No you don't, the demo is public (EA counts on more $$$, so it's free).

And yes, I think I do. AFAIK EA Link is totally free, and I clicked the button free download, so I guess I won't have to pay... and yeah, I'm already on 145MB of 1.207GB :evgr:

I'm currently installing it via EA Link. It took about 20 minutes to download (I love the MIT network).

Probably the EA Link installation path, so something like C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Link\....

Downloading now from Gamershell Zen UK mirror at a blazing 25 k a second on my fat business line.

Shitty Zen servers, it should work on a 2 GHZ, 1 Gig of RAM, 128 ATI on my laptop as it runs Supreme Commander fine?
