So if this is teh sage engin it should run on the asme spec machines right?
no. Engines are scaleable. thats why id doesn't look the same, and thats why it has higher system requirements.
Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

according to the system specs for CNC3 the minimum is lower that BFME2's
the rumor is they tried very hard to optimize it... lord knows there was plenty of room to work with.

EDIT: after a good play of the game, this the run down.
its exactly like BFME2, it feels like playing it.
it is a pretty good game.
GDI are the only playable side (in the demo)
the intro is awesome.
the minimum specs are lower than BFME2
the Mammoth tanks are cheap.
it doesn't feel like tiberium sun, its something completely differnet (REALLY CHEESY AND KORNY).
filmed cut scenes
one of the actors from Battlestar Galactica are there. Boomer to be exact.
it feels like a mod for bfme2.
all the physics graphics are identical to bfme2.
KANE IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i am considering buying it.
i don't know of its modding capabilities.

beyond the eternal pleasure of war, when the dead rule and the living die, and the pain of destruction has reigned. when skulls are crushed under the threads of heavy metal. when this time comes i shall arise and rule you all HAIL TO THE KING. praise all forms of xeno for they inherit the future

Then drop that .dll into C: \Windows\System32\ and that should do it.
also i love the demo and i am 100% buying the game
also i liked the way how to play as NOD, i think EA wanted us to and it was so easy!!

Actually, the hot blonde 'Six' is also in there. Along with a few other actors. The guy that plays Sawyer on Lost, Mr. Colt 45, Billy Dee, and some others I can't recall at the moment.
I'll be buying it, I liked the demo too.
