where can i find pictures of Smaug

Well the easiest answer is "type smaug in google images and push enter"

If you want Smaug by various artists: http://tolkiengatewa...Images_of_Smaug
If you want Smaug by J.R.R. Tolkien: http://tolkiengatewa..._J.R.R._Tolkien

Hi! This is Thorongil of the now-ancient forums. I've registered just to make a post, that's all.

Here goes (very little changed really) final dragonlore essay (http://docs.google.c...dwd98qd_2g7p4fq) - added few comments from Children of Hurin, Etymologies and other cosmetics.

Enjoy!

Regards

PS. You will find links to my previous essays here: http://docs.google.c...._3csb668&pli=1

Excellent work here Thorongil, top rate reading with perfect citacions. I'm sure you could publish this as an article on some website, in some encyclopedia, or in a magazine or somthing of the sort.

I'd like to ask something. Where can Thorongil's previous essays be found? The essay about the dragons was great, I'd really like to read more of the kind.
Am I Belgian or Flemish? Hmm, me thinks I'll just stick to European...

I just popped by and saw the essay by Thorongil, just had to leave a reply. Very nice, although maybe not my favoruite Tolkien subject. That I liked it anyway is the proof that you are a great writer and you know quite a great deal of Tolkien's world (but you knew that already).

Everytime you stop by I get flashbacks of the times on the first forum. :p

Hehe, everything was better at the old forums... Don't you think? ;)

Not really... it was dead for several months before the move (at least in the actual mod discussion bit).
