wait....AF works in remix?
since when? i though that it was onlt Cyber gen that was working.


Gred was refereing to the Cybr AI.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

and in my last post i meant was AF gen AI working loll...i just realised wat i out :p

Gred did beat it, but it wan't quite a "fair" fight. I had to rebalance Robot general because of it. In earlier versions Robot USA had ONLY missile AA weapons. Gred built a swarm of Apaches and gave them laser point defense drones... = missile proof helis VS missile AA only..... Gred owned the AI because it was imposible for it to return fire. As you know, every single general now has both missile AND direct fire AA, so this trick has very limited aplication now.

Previously the AWACS-PD created the same unfair-factor.

You could RUSH SupW general with it, but once the Strat center is built the Avenger covers the bill. If it does persist as a balance problem, both Laser and Cybr Point Defense drones will require that the Strat center has been built. And certain generals will recieve additional gun-AA, but I've not heard of any exploits sence so I'm not tooo worreid about it for now.

Well, for the Hard AI, just do what I did in the beginning. Just do a 2-on-1 with a medium enemy across from your ally, not you. you don't get attacked, but if you know the route the enemy takes, put your guys/buildings there.

maybe a freeze hack or something like that can be injected in to the game??? :thumbsupsmiley:

ai is hard to beat sometimes even on 2v1 (note that i am no the "1", i am ally with a hard and our only opponent sweeps us wildly.. oh dear...)

The best way to win vs Insane AI is a super fast defence crawling rush and spam tanks. Also laser will be able to pwn all armies. I wouldnt pick it as enemy because you will die if you dont rush. This counts for Air as well. If you want to play a longer game pick Laser, GlaAssault or Tank/Nuke. These have good units at the start and their defences(if u dont want to rush) are quite usefull as well.

Yea but unlike you, we dont have unlimted cash to spam defences and tanks....

ATM i think toxin gen is the most powerfull and easiest to win with.

1 v 1 insane, 10k, nuke general = easy
so far i can do 1 v 5 teamed insane, that was painful @_@
