Uninstall everything then reinstall everything. The 3:30 defeat is an anti-piracy measure included by EA, and usually happens when you install on a second PC. Has happened to me and a reinstall fixed it.

Hey everyone!

I've just downloaded the Eleven Alliance to my bfme, and it says it's been installed sucsesfully, but then when I click on the Elven Alliance icon to start the game, this messages shows:

Expected floating point value or predefined macro, but found
‘ROHAN_ELVEN_MELEE_DAMAGE_UPGRADE’

Error parsing field ‘Damage’ in block ‘Weapon’ in file
‘Data\INI\Weapon.ini’, line 5310.

Error parsing field “in block ‘Weapon’ in file ‘Data\INI\Weapon.ini’, line
5310.

Error parsing INI block ‘ Damage’ in file ‘Data\INI\Weapon.ini’.

Because of the severity of this error the game will now exit.

Anyone who knows what to do?

Moved it to the right thread.

You need the 1.03 patch to play TEA. There's a link to it in the first post of this thread.

I know this is archived work and I also know that this is probably a stupid question but... How do I enable King Gil-Galad? Do I just have to change some "False" file to "True?" Or do I have to download?

Open up the .big file, find data/ini/playertemplate.ini and find the elven heroes and remove the ";" from before GilGaled

If it were like a readme, I would be able to edit it and I tried opening it with Word but that only brought up an uneditable version (which probably didn't have the info I needed anyways). What do I open it with and if it is not the thing in LotR BfME files, what folder should it be in? Program files one?

Mods have problems with cracked games. Revora also does not support cracked games.

Did you ever try to mod the game yourself?
Either way, un-install and re-install the game. That should do the trick. If not, just post again.
