This is where I'm gonna post screens of things from the ToDo list that are 100% solved or finished... :p

First out is the blue glow FX that was, for some weird unknown reason, added by EA to all dwarven heroes. Thanks to ZIMOO it's now gone! Look how happy Gloin is to be able to see again without having to run around in his personal neon light *lol* The builder is there just to show the difference of coloring... isn't brown "leather" better than smurf blue cloth? :p
:)

nice to see the blue gone, but i think EA added them because all the dwarves look similar :) so the heroes would be noticable.

Well, I rather click their portraits too find them than looking for Las Vegas stylee neon glow :) Allthough, I just played one map with them and I had no hard time seeing them, even though I zoomed out to the max sometimes :p

Next thing fixed: longer walls (for all factions with walls)... Now all factions have 15 segments instead of 8. This makes it more easy to build walls according to your perception of a good layout and placement of expansions. Put the gate at segemnt 8 and you'll have exactly 7 segments on each side with room for both arrow towers and ballistas... Well if nothing else, it looks better too. Idea by: Sulherokhh :)

Stupid warhammerish dwarves <_<

Walls look cool, except for if a part gets destroyed...then you'll have to rebuild the entire wall stretch (unless you have plans to fix that).

Hehe yes I know, but in this mod the walls ARE mendable. It's all stated in the PDF. When a segmenst is destroyed, all you have to do is click on a hub and "draw a line" to the next hub, and the broken pieces will get a "green ghost", and when clicking, they will rebuild. You do NOT have to tear down entire streches of walls with expansions and all, just to build new ones (like in the original game) :)

But we're also talking about letting the rubble stay, with a repair button!

And the "warhammerish" dwarves are a bit less that in SEE due to reskins, I hope... :p

Ok cool, I wouldn't know about that as I just looked at the pictures in the pdf :)

They're warhammerish because of models, not skins :p

True, but not all together... For instance... Warhammer style is axes with holes in them, those are removed by skinning :) The bright colors are also kind of Warhammer, and those are also gone, so at least they look LESS Warhammer now, even if the Berserkes are MORE LotR than the Guradians though thanks to other models :p

Walls are pretty now. ;-)
About the dwarves: Grim and gritty should be the motto. They only have it nice and shiny at home where noone can see, i believe. Or if parading their wealth is on their mind. But for warriors...

It's more the giant hammers and weird-shaped axes.

And BTW, please remove all ginger hair from dwarves, ESPECIALLY GLOIN!

*lol* Sure, what color should they be? I haven't read the books in years, and they're not in the movies... :)

Otherwise I agree... there must be a Warhammer fan in the EA crew :/

Gloin had white hair, anyone else would probably have dark brown.

Third item done... Dwarven Berserkers Banner Carrier + button...
It took 1 DAY to solve just that button before I found the missing code that enabled the upgrade...
But here we go... :D And the "regular" warrior works great, I think!

Forth down...

Dwarven Warriors, Phalanx and Axw Throwers now have Mithril for HA upgrades... :D
Check out the Mithril shirts on the Phalanx here...
I'll fix the Dale Archers too.

Only thing is that you won't see the chain mail structure unless you are really zoomed in on a bright map, but still... Better than gold on helmets... ;)

I'm kind of allergic to golden look, especially for Dwarves... they should be mostly about Mithril, but yeah I had those thoughts too... but the Mithril actually makes them look quite different so there wont be any problem noticing the upgrade at least... ;)

Tsss.. well there's just a limit to HOW "real" one can be, and the ugrade is called "Mithril", so I just figured they should have that instead of "golden" details... Don't be a smart ass! ;)
