In fact Makaveli has donated a couple of models for my mod already (Goldberry and Ulwarth). He will also be making the models for Evil Men Builder, Ungoliant and Vronkhar (Lord of Khand).Couldn't you exchange some models with maka (Last Alliance)?
I mean, he has Gil-Galad and you have some really awesome elven and dwarven models that could prove useful...(cuivinen pikemen and other stuff)
It's no risk that you make your mod too like LA anyway...

I'd say no to Gil-G personally. With the other factions it'd be ok (like you adding Draugluin) cause they lack heroes. Elves do not lack heroes...
Playing games? Ah, you'll never be a good modder if you get involved in actually playing them!

I kinda agree, even though Gil-Galad would be cool. Elves already have too many heroes so it would be difficult to add him.
And like zimoo said, I put Draugluin to Isengard because they don't have so many heroes. There are also other First Age characters in this mod, Carcharoth (Angmar Ringhero) and Ungoliant (Evil Men summoned hero), but Gil-Galad doesn't really fit anywhere.
