Nice, it'd be cool to see more textures for the units, but I've no complaints about what I'm seeing :)

The bree barmen/travelers look interesting, care to explain the purpose behind them? Are they a map-only unit, or part of a faction etc?

Lol@Bilbo's pipe, and do I see a pocket handkerchief in his pocket? :D

Playing games? Ah, you'll never be a good modder if you get involved in actually playing them!

Im sure Feudal will be happy :)

They are a mini-faction for the Shire faction. They will also be used on a bree map aswell though.

Lol@Bilbo's pipe, and do I see a pocket handkerchief in his pocket? :)

I loved the idea, It just had to be done :D

I think Wain Catapult was a great idea... You attack... launch... enemy comes... you flee... now what other siege weapon can do that? :p

Think about it, you've got an uber-fast mounted unit who can take down gates (battering ram) and destroy large groups of enemies (catapult).

Personally he's my main siege unit when I play with Gondor, although I must admit the concept of a wain-catapult intrigues me. Hopefully you'll make it quite inaccurate though, so it isn't too op'ed.

On that subject, can it fire while moving?
