Are there going to be Southern Fiefdom units in this mod besides Dol Amroth units?

Yes. I'm not sure what role they will play, but they will be in somehow since I've already put their models into the game and all that's left is to code their specifics.

Also, I'm assuming your "sweet" comment was in regards to Beleg's 7/8 percent done with the mod... that percentage is a bit high. Definately a majority of the work with the mod is done, but it's not that close to being released. Nearly all the remaining work is coding and simple art/text though so it shouldn't take long to do it (provided I and the mod team have the time required to do so).

But I'd say there's an excellent chance that the mod will be released in some form or another by the end of summer. :wink_new:

Yeah, my sweet was to Beleg's post. But it also goes to the mod too since it's true.

I'm afraid that at this point the likelyhood of that is about 0%. For the amount of work required to do that it just isn't worth it for me, especially since I personally will probably never play the campaign again anyway.

I'm really just looking to get the mod at a playable (yet fun, balanced, and good) state in skirmish/networking. Then it's retire time :p

I'm new, so can you help me with my problem? Here it is: I want your Haldir Mod SO badly, but on my first attempt it wouldn't work! Then I messed with it a bit, and now, well you get my picture don't you? And B: can you have only one mod on the BFME games at a time, or can you have, like, all the mods for the games at once but play them separate?HELP!!

As long as all the mods use the -mod command to run (i.e. they appear in your AppData instead of the Program Files), then you can have as many as you want.

I repeat, I'm new! Well, I'm new with these mods. And my problem on A is that I don't think I have the right stuff to play the games with certain mods. And most of them that I'm sure I can use are on FileFront, which won't let me get the mods because I get that single use only message, and, well, I think you get the message? Can anyone help me please?

Most BFME mods are available at http://mevault.ign.com

Too make what I said simpler...

Mods are usually installed in one of two ways:
- Placed directly in the BFME Program Files
- Placed in the BFME Application Data folder (go to Start > Run and type "%appdata%" without quotes then find the BFME folder)

BFME has a function (the -mod command) which allows you to run mods from that AppData folder, as this doesn't affect the Program Files, you can have as many as you want.

First off, what do you mean by it wouldn't work? The game started up but gave you an error message or the download/installer didn't work or the game started up but while playing it suddently crashed? I need some more info before I can determine what exactly is wrong with it :xd:

Just to confirm, you have bfme1 with patch 1.03 installed right?

Finally, are you having trouble downloading my mods or were you talking about other mods you wanted to get from FileFront? Because if you mean my mods, you can always download them off my website (my signatures link to it).

No, the page that connects to the installer won't work for me and yes, I have the patch. I just didn't know what to do to put it in. Thanks! And m@tt, thanks a lot too! It helps a lot!

No I do not mean the APT folder.

So, you can place the files anywhere in the BFME file, and the mods will still work? And Gto, I ment for the vault of mods. I have never seen such a collection of mods before!

No I don't! The BFME folder in Application Data folder (read previous posts on how to find it) is not related to the Program Files.
