We have talked about this earlier, but I still wanted to make this topic as this isn't quite what I've said earlier.
These are my suggestions
1. Replace the mallorn tree with the elven farms that can be found in world builder as the Lindon resource building.
2. Now, the Mallorn trees aren't supposed to give resources anymore. Instead, still for a cost of 300, they give a hero leadership. +25% armour for all heroes within a specified area of the tree. (Of course the elven heroes fight better when backed up by the magic of the Mallorn trees. ) Also give them an upgrade called "Platform Guard" for §300, which immediately takes them to lvl 3 (using the model with an elf on the platform).
3. The old statue stays, giving infantry cost discount.

I'm up for making the art needed.

i say make the mallorn tree a arrow tower with the level 3 model. would be awesome if you could see the archers there when they garrisonned

Personally I dont like that idea. Elves cant just plant Mallorn everytime they need archer tower

alright, but they need more things with trees, because looks at lorien or rivendale, all their houses are practically living in trees or trees themselves. EA hardly did any of that

Lindon = Mix between Teleri and Noldor, neither of whom were known to live in trees. It was mainly the silvan elves who did that.
