Do my eyes deceive me? Or is this the remains of a Nod Power Plant before me?

That's definitely a TS power plant. I've heard of people finding C&C/Generals humvees in the campaign as well as wrecked Titans and Mammoth MK2's in skirmish maps.

What I would love to see it the remains of an old GDI or Nod base (CY, barracks/warfactory/radar/etc) at most.

There are a lot of old GDI walls in the GDI campaign.

That picture is from the Nod Operation Stiletto mission. The Generals humvees you're talking about are probably meant to be Humvees from Tiberian Dawn, although how a humvee wreck survives 52 years in a reasonably intact state I don't know.

Now, don't forget, although time's gone forward, tech has gone backward. Chances are they brought the hummers back into service. :p

The Hummers I saw were all in a car park, about 10 of them, so they were probably meant to be in some kind of storage hence the intactness.

I wouldn't put it past them. Was the Pitbull not originally a Humvee? Before people complained and they changed it.

I don't remember a Humvee, I can remember an open-topped pitbull.

That doesn't mean it didn't happen though.

Agh, that's what it was then. I thought the early Pitbull looked like a Humvee, then again, I have terrible eyesight anyway, so can you blame me? :p
Then again, as you say, it doesn't mean it didn't happen, it's EA after all, the same EA that brought you such great titles as Generals, and Zero Hour.

Heh, that mission was easy, if you're incredibly sneaky like me.

Just make loads of engineers and then put one right next to every one of the objectives. Remember they don't attack you until you attack them, so set every unit to hold fire :)Then enter the mass waypoint mode, and give each one a capture order. Exit waypoint mode, and every objective is captured at once. Mission complete!

Although, I do want to do it again properly, so I can do the bonus objectives...
