i don;t like the gauss tank, the manticore is a gauss tank(a 4 barreled one :grin: )
i like idea on a super aa unit but who would you give it to?

nobody likes to comment on my ideas ;) so plz comment till you die  ;) post 127

lol the only thing I not comment on is the microwave firebase... I like it. It would be a pertty good building even if it only did the normal microwave with upped range.

I'm all against the AA super unit... you wouldn't be able to play AirUSA at all against it...

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

An idea for Contra supporting the Tech levels style of gameplay... a seperate dozer for low and high tech structures...

a dozer for all your core base buildings and defenses, plus another that does all all your tech buildings, advanced base defenses, and other lvl 3 goodies

I'm all against the AA super unit...  you wouldn't be able to play AirUSA at all against it...

I think that i didnt make myself clear... The AA will lanch its missile and the missile locks the target without leting the target escape but its weapon will be a missile so the missiles can shoot down.Do you know what i mean??:grin:

small missles can't be shot down in contra, the airforce general doesn't have point laser defences anymore, only laser general does

even laser doesn't have the point defense on his planes... and even if he did, what about every other general? some players depend heavlily on thier planes and choppers when playing nuke Gen or Cybr(at least in my version of cybr). To strong an AA would really mess those player up too much. AA is plenty scary enough in the game if you ask me... gattling tanks and quad cannons are certain death enough.

No. Air Force general already have a lot of good toys. B-52 armed with Tomahawks and B2 stealth bomber is enough for him.

flame gen: Heavy Thermobarical mortar that can destroy 4 Overlords with one shot. But it have short range.
stealth gen: Stealth sniper tank with sniper rifle and sniper cannon
superweapon gen: She have 2 super weapons and super defense structure (SDI). It is enough. BTW, SDI will destroy artillery barrage shells as well as bombs. So, several SDI cannons will make you immune to super weapons.

laser:the large laser defense turret
infantry: a 2ble barrel artillery defense bunker

the super sonic anti-tank figher
what i think would make this thing balanced enough for a superunit would be:
It has 4 f-22 raptor missles (from contra 003)
it slows down after it fires
and it costs $5000
if it fights a berta (for example) with 2 gatling tanks by it. and the plane shoots its missles at the berta, it would only do so much damage and not kill it. then after it fires, those gattling tanks would tear that plane to shreads

Aurora and Raptor can perform this function. Such fighter is not needed.

very cool... I can see the resemblence to the Warhound, but its also picked up a body look much more like a Reaver Titan... a missle pod on the back would finish the look.

As a model it also has a much more MechWarrior look to it, almost like a Vulture, but not quite.

I like it alot... makes me jelious, I can model just enough to change something, but havn't go the hang or whole bodies yet. I could learn it, but the skinning has whooped my butt a few times. For now I'll stick to what I'm good at.

Cyber gen is speed based. the mech will have to have speed. unlike other super unit which are slow, the mech will be fast but not as powerful as the destroyer or the shaitan. Plus i think a mech should come in at level 3 but its cool upgrade like a better cannon or missiles should only be available at level 5. the reason for this is because the cuber gen in most cases doesn't last till lvl 3. with these suggestion the Cyber gen can be kick ass. also the mech should detect stealth. the underpowerment can be made up with versatility.
