Hi guys, I need your option about this. Do you want a strategy game or a mass spam game? To lower mass spam of 1 unit, I've decided to give every unit a weak point, like Light and Medium Tanks are good versus vehicles, but not so good versus buildings (they're worser versus buildings hen before) and infantry, and Flame tanks are good versus infantry and buildings, but they suck versus vehicles etc (and BTW, Mammoths have very slow AA making them breakfast for air units). For more strategy, I thought this:
1. Let tiberium give less or making cost of units and buildings higher
2. Let there be more money buildings like Oil Derricks (ofcourse replaced with a tiberium variant, like a Green Tiberium spike and a Blue Tiberium Spike), you need to capture them in order to have enough cash to bild up an army
3. Making the starting amount of money around $5000 (enough for a Power Plant, Tiberium Refinery, a Barracks / Hand Of Nod, and some Engineers to capture some Oil Derricks (ofcourse this would require new maps, because on normal maps there are not enough Oil Derricks)
For mass spam, I don't need to change anything currently, I won't give Mammoths fast AA or make Light Tanks and Medium Tanks great versus buildings). ow what do you prefer.
What do you guys prefer

Please, if you see a mistake in my posts - spelling, grammar, punctuation, or whatever else - point it out. How can one learn from mistakes, if one is not corrected?

As a guide I always make sure a unit has two uses and one weakness. This way your units should all have different uses, and you'd want to combine forces to balance out your weaknesses, and have any strengths you need for the operation. For example; in LS, a Mk.# male's 6lbers are good for demolishing defences and vehicles. It also has MG's for lighter work, HOWEVER, it can easily be destroyed by infantry because it has a minimum range and is slow. So, to stop anyone getting too close, you want a couple of armored cars, to outmanouver and eliminate infantry. But if you're assaulted by enemy armour, you're going to want your own infantry, and perhaps a truck to help them get right up close. Trucks are themselves fairly vunerable, so you may want some scout cars to draw fire and make sure its path is clear.
Also, I don't see why smallarms would be better at causing structual damage than ordinance...
Also I don't see how making it impossible to build anything would prevent from spamming, it would just take forever to get the game going and make it more boring.
However, I do like strategic locations to fight over, like derricks, just not having to rely upon them.

Well, if you don't have the money, you can't spam. You'll need defences etc and make sure you hold the Oil Derricks to get enough cash to build up an attack force. Maybe I should make a game mode of it.
For units I also have such a system, Stealth Tanks are fast and stealthed, but they are weak, Flame Tanks are great versus infantry and buildings, but they do litteraly no damage to vehicles, Artillerys are slow and light armoured, but they deal great damage versus everything, etc.

i love sending mass amounts of tanks and infantry.... i hated TS and TSF because it took so long to get any damn money that it woult take me six hrs just finish biulding a base with supers deactivated.
Total Annihilation is the only battle strategy.
