I don't know much of the Fourth Age. Do any of you know how long Eldarion ruled for, when he died, who he married, if there were any wars during his reign. Please post and tell me.

Very little is known of the Fourth Age, but in answer to your last query I'll give you a quote:

The hearts of men find no comfort in peace.

He likely married a fairly pure-blooded Numenorean. I can't imagine him taming a wild shieldmaiden of the north :D

Playing games? Ah, you'll never be a good modder if you get involved in actually playing them!

Don't forget to include Khoragan's dragon that he rides around on...

Oh and the Balrogs that come out from under the hills, to terrorize all who are nearby...

And most importantly, don't forget the part where Khoragan kills Eldarion... or was it his son...

:p

Anyways, I think if you look on Lauri's site you can see a bit about the Fourth Age, though it isn't Tolkien and it isn't finished...

Dragons? Balri?

Hell no, I keep it as true to Tolkien-sense as I can.

What about when Khoragan uses a special spell to summon Morgoth from the outer void in spirit form to lead the armies of darkness?

EDIT: :p Actually I can't wait to play your mod Lauri, I personally have my own story of how the 4th age goes, I used to use it for storytelling to my younger brother... However I am afraid it wasn't quite as true-to-Tolkien as it could be...

And yah, I'm joking!

Well we dont have anything to talk about since we dont know anything about the 4th Age. That's why we were talking about a mod that adds depth to the 4th Age.

You're not the nicest, are you?

Ai QFT, I was about to reply saying the exact same thing.

While we're completely off-topic, anyone here played Fourth Age: Total War? It's a mod for RTW set during the last years of Aragorn's grandson's reign.

No. I haven't. And I am perfectly nice. But I found a book in my library that charts most of Eldarions rule. It was by chris tolkien. Though it probably isn't what tolkien wanted his stepson did a fairly good job.

What? Oh. Okay. It was called the Fourth Age: As I think it Was. It wasn't really a history book type thing but more of a joke. It was kind of funny. He said that evil had arisen in the far east and that Eldarion was almost slain but defeated them. It was kind of stupid. Who knows. He may have gone senial in his old years and wrote this for nothing.
