in the movie they were mounted swordsman, and adding spears to them would make them look too much like rohirrim.
But they could be added as weaker, cheaper scout mounts. Though i dont really think Gondor is of a need of another horse unit. For this role fills Rohan up. The only mounts that Gondor has are his own knights, and then the KoDAS who represent the Southern Fiefdom allies

Or would that make them too good?
Anyway I was wondering if any changes to the WotR Living World Map such as adding Amon Hen and deviding the region of Rohan. I mean in the future there are gonna be more Rohan missions than present at the moment?

I understand Gondor is not as cavalry composed as Rohan, but there should at least be a nod to the use of a spear by a Knight in Gondor, a toggle ability perhaps?
Or would that make them too good?
Yes I had that same thought myself however there strength did not lie in cavalry but in infantry. Also Knights are not bad cavalry, against buildings they are equally as good as Rohirrim: however they could benefit from a reduction in price slightly as 600 is to expensive for a basic cavalry unit.

hmm Gondor gives me the idea of Infantry nation, that has decent infantry ( later pretty cool foot units, both, that names end up with ... Guards ), for cheap purchase price. its something diferent than hard armored, heavy and expensive uruk infantry, and i think that you can see the wariety of the races well on Gondor ( at gondor ? . . ?? ).
Cheap and efective units, but nothing too OP, for the price, and units combo wariations cower for it more than good
*just small plea - let Fountain Guard be able to combine with Tower Guard ( hmm i think i got the name wrong, srry, im too tired right now ), i would love to move around with one bat, of most elite Gondor troops

Also, what about adding some of the other heroes to Arnor, maybe the king of Gondor that came up to help them after they got tired of The Witch-King busting their chops for like, four hundred years? And I still think Glorfindel belongs with Arnor, sorta.
'The Twilight of Man is nigh, and coming ever closer. The days have shortened into cold, forlorn darkness and sunrise to sundown is a bitter struggle for survival. But do not think for a moment that we shall not fight. We shall not go quietly into the dusk. We shall not throw down arms and flee, or surrender. We will go on, we will not falter. And even should we die, we shall make an end that will be remembered for thousands of years. For beautiful Arnor that is, for glorious Númenor that was! We are the Dúnedain, we are the Men of the North, and our foes will remember our steel!'
