Okay, toys with nuclear missiles :p.

But the thing is, Skiprays are known both for having strong shields ("its immense power output, weaponry, and shielding caused some registries to designate it as a capital ship itself") and a strong hull ("its hull plating is so heavy that most starfighter lasers would have trouble penetrating it, thus making the Skipray impervious to all but the most powerful starfighter armaments"), yet they fall over like cardboard standups when hit with laser fire in FoC.

Yeah, those things were a bitch to take out in XWA. They were definitely nerfed for FoC.

The doubled Proton Torpedo firing though, that made them wonderful to use when they didn't get blown to shreds.

Actually the hardpoints between the vanilla Y-wing/TIE Bomber and the Skipray are functionally identical; the only difference is that PG rigged up two firing bones for the Skipray instead of just one on the other two ships.

So... The Skipray doesn't actually do any more damage than the other bombers?

Sorry for double post and this is kind of off topic, but on your site PR, for the SSD it says something like 5000 turbolasers and 5000 something else?

As far as I can tell, that's not even close to the actual specs, which are an average of 250 turbos and 250 etc.
I have a book with the official specs of ships in it that states this and also Wookieepedia says so too, so I'm just a tad confused on what the final version in your mod will be equipped with.

[Edit] It seems theres a discrepancy on Wookieepedia. Under the search term "Executor" it gives the 250-odd weapons spec. Under the search term "Super Star Destroyer" however, in the bottom of the article it alludes to the Executor-class having over 5000 weapon emplacements.

So.... W/E!

That's right. It does get a turret though, if that counts for anything.

Yeah, 250 is the old count for the 8-km ship (now Super-class) and 2000 is the new count for the 19-km ship (now Executor-class). Source.

Considering that the mini-mod has been out for four months and you've submitted a grand total of zero bugs and the only post you've bothered to make on the forums is one asking for a position (off-topic at that), my answer is a "no."

Hm, interesting. I really need to replace that hideous, six-firing-bone model then.

Dem bones, dem bones, dem ... turret bones...

Da laser bone's connected to da turret bone...

Da turret bone's connected to da... Victory Bone

Da Victory Bone's connected to the Imperial Bone...

So hear the work of da Lord ...

I agree with PR's earlier statement, that common sense is the most valuable tool. If a moncal cruiser made an SSD run away in a stand up fight, then it must not have been 'super'. Pretty much common sense imo. There's no exhaust port to sling a couple of torpedo's into. The executor would win that stand up battle with ease, short of the entire crew spontaneously deciding to take a nap.

But then, stormtroopers really should have shot Han Solo dead. That's what you get for making a whole universe out of film.

What doesn't make sense about the weaponry on the two SSDs is that the executor class is only two times the normal SSD's length and has eight times its armament.

what is this topic about NOW, cuase i think it changed from the name
P.S: My favorite fighter is a tie between the Tie Defender or X-wing. They are both versitle craft, and so i use them as such. As for capitals, I really like the dreadnaught; can masacer fighters and withstand bigger caps long enough to get support or run away.
