I don't harbor resentment for Edain specifically. What I don't like is the cult following surrounding it, where the fans tend to belittle and bash other mods (happens often with SaF) because they feel like they're a member of the supposed 'Edain Master Race'.

Well I must admit I'm also kind of a fanatic Edain follower, but bashing other mods goes a bit too far..

Yes, I completly agree with you on that. I think all mods should be given at least as much respect as they deserve, and I really dislike it, when mods are bashed. Because I follow nearly all BfME mods on ModdB, I can gladly say that I notice something like that happening really rarely from Edain fans. We've had a few very annoying Edain fans on our ModDB profile recently.

We decided to set aside our usual policy of 'everything goes' and are instead going to simply delete any of that hateful/overly competitive nonsense some 'fans' like to engage in. Easier that way.
