OLD SIG
When history witnesses a great change Razgriz reveals itself,
first as a dark demon. As a demon it uses it power to rain death upon the land,
and then it dies. However after a period of slumber Razgriz returns
As the demon sleeps, man turns on man.
Its own blood, and madness soon cover the earth.
From the depths of despair awaken the Razgriz.
Its raven wings ablaze in majestic light.
Amidst the eternal waves of time
From a ripple of change shall the storm rise
Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon
Behold the Razgriz, its wings of black sheath
The demon soars through the dark skies
Fear and Death trail its shadow beneath
Until Men united wield a hallowed sabre
In Final Reckoning, the beast is slain.

(this doesnt sound serious but it is true because anti-protons can kill cancer unlike normal protons which are used in all modern medicines today)

hey xeno you could steal some of those anti-protons from the hardon particle collider they can kill cancer.

That's a bit rude...
I'm glad Xeno is still doing well. My dad died of cancer, it's really a terrible disease.

My current situation has changed recently so as you can imagine i've been pretty busy over the past several months. All seems to be going well but recently i've been re-diagnosed for a 5th time ever since one of the noduals on my spine has started to flair up and cause problems between two of my vetibret. I've had 5 days of intence Radiotherapy and i've started on another course of Chemotherapy which will take the form of 2 sessions, followed then by a set of scans. Assuming it shows its all going well i shall continue with this treatment... however if there is limited sign of change etc. then i have a second option.
The second option involves me going to London for a trial treatment, recently gone onto phase two of testing and it shows good signs of working with patients. This will be a big move for me since i currently live about an hour away from London via train i'll have to look for more localised accomidation. That added to weekly treatment sessions and constant scans and monitoring (cause its still a trial) will be very stressful. But that day isn't here yet, i could still remain in cambridgshire for all i know *crosses fingers*
I'll try and keep you up to date as and when i can.
Richard (Shine On a.k.a Xeno)
P.S I've just been reading through alot of the comments and i thank you all for what you've posted. However please don't look at Cancer as a taboo subject, i know the name is often tagged with "death" but this isn't always the case. It's good to stay positive and with the amount of new treatments out there there's alot of good signs. Look at me, i've had this for 5 years and im still here... One thing i suggest you all do is live your life as best you can because you don't know what'll happen around the next corner.

Before last year (move to undergraduate school), the largest move I had done was by two streets (about 0.5 miles). If you do end up having to move, let us know what it's like!

Every person that I've ever known that died--my next-door neighbor and one of my best friends' brother--has died in an automobile accident, immediately, without the agonizing knowledge that one's end is approaching. I can't comprehend what that must be like.
