As you may have read in the latest mass mails, Revora is moving tomorrow (19/05/2007) to a new server. The official news source of the progress of the operation is located in the link below (still outdated, we know):

But we'll discuss the rest here. MM plans for no downtime. Although MM will redirect icetex DNS to the new server, it's important for those who own their own domains to change their settings as soon as we provide them, since once Icetex goes offline, the redirection will be dropped.

Anyway, I don't have any information about the exact hour that MM will start this. All I know is that he must finish it and bring Icetex offline by may 26th.

Now, we have an important note for everyone:


Tomorrow, MM will travel to the west of US. This means that he will turn off Icetex and, if your DNS does not update for any site, you won't be able to visit it until it updates.


Important: Considering the line above, CnCGuild with all hostees will go down until Hybrid updates the name servers of the domain.

It shouldn't take a long time until the downtime is over. We should be contacting him soon and Hybrid has always been a very nice person with us.

Also, some of you may experience a downtime with gamemod, cnc3files and slipstream productions for the same reason mentioned above. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and we are doing our best to minimize its effects, specially Mastermind.
