Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

A wise man chooses death before war, A wiser man chooses not to become war.

Everyone should watch this and pass it on as its a very good argument on the subject of Global Warming.

cyber general AI
About that... what was the conclusion of the AI-topic? what would be harder/easier? since i think the AI on hard is crazy but the normal is too weak

I always play vs like 2-3 hard... sometimes 1 depending on if i am on a 1v1 map or if i am testing the sides for bugs
And insain i only beaten i think 2 times never alone tho insain kicks ass like a crack head beating his dealer for some drugs. (when he not have the cash for them)

well... the end conclusioin wass Normal, Hard, Insane. Thats how it is right now.
The hard is a severe challenge, but its not crazy. It can be taken in a 1vs1, its just a realy hard fight. If you only win 30% of games I think its perfect. If you WANTED to win 100% of the time why not just play vs the normal?
Now, that being said, I've gotten far more complaints about he "normal" being too hard and that there is no "easy". So, I'm seriously looking at re-classing them like this, "Practice, Challenging, Insane"
Practice: like the current easy, but never actualy attacks. It only sends units to the center of the map for you to skermish at your leasure while you PRACTICE playing with your general. The bases will be hard to destroy, as they will be well defended and will rebuild quickly, but your own base will never be in danger.
Challenging: effectivly identical to the current "hard". It will be a very hard fight for 1 player and most players can expect to loose more rounds than they win. It should be a real CHALLENGE. This will be overkill for someplayers, but in the comunity there are more verteran players than n00bs.
Insane effectivly identical tot he current "insane". It is designed to crush ANY single player mercisliessly, and even a couple of his friends. The Insane AI is included to give 3-4 CoOp-CompStomp players something hard enough to play against in multiplayer. a 6vs2 CompStomp vs Insane should be a good match in most cases.
Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

Unlike humans who can plane and think out things and adapted the AI can't it has to do whats programed and then it becomes predictable, making it cheat makes it harder.
And yes the other teams will get AI of course but its not a big prioity the Cyber general AI is a testbed and a way to test the game solo.
Also pend is planing to rework the AI, this means there wont be any other AIs Untill gla and the us and china sides have been complete and fine turned. He wont spend hours on making AI's for each general only to have to then spend hours changing it.
Play Vs hard cyber or play PvP ok.

what i meant with "more than 3 AIs" is; Can you add more than easy normal and hard? not just rename them, but add others? Im not trying to stress pend or anything, i think its great he has put up the topic about help, i'm just sorry i really cant do anything of what is requested
the three AIs is hard-coded...

so the answer is "yes it can be done, but i sure as hell aint doing it!"?
Hardcoded means it coded directly into the game files and cannot be edited.
