I have tried everything. to get PR to install. No icon shows up anywhere, I even did a file search for it nothing no EXE file. I unistalled everything, and reinstalled everything including the patches and nothing.

Welcome to the forum baxjohn,
First off, there is no icon that will appear on the desktop for Project Raptor after you install it. You just use your normal icons that originally came with the game. Once you run the game you should see a PR movie that has replaced the normal ZH movie, and once your playing the game you should see all the new units. If you don't see any of this then you have a problem. You may need to uninstal and install the mod again, but this time make sure your doing it correctly by also deleting remnant file from other mods that most uninstallers miss. These remnants can screw up your game, and prevent PR from running correctly. Check out our FAQ for more details on properly uninstalling and reinstalling.
Question for you. Are you using Generals/ZH? Or do you have "C&C the First Decade?"
If you are running "C&C the First Decade" the PR automatic installer that comes with versions 7.0 and earlier versions will not work. The installer was made PRIOR to "C&C the First Decade's" release. The installer was made for the original stand alone version of Generals/Zero Hour and not for any of the 'packaged' multiple C&C game set deals that have come out since then.
There is no fix for this problem at this time, or anytime in the near future, since Project Raptor is in Permanent Hiatus (almost officially a dead mod). No further work on the mod is occurring at this time.
