Minifactions

oh hang on
I've never looked at your updates whatsoever since I'm not much interested in mods for bfme2 (take no offense, Visions is surely a good mod)...
It's a mere coincidence if anything of the ideas above resembles to anything in Visions.
btw Last Alliance will be different from ALL other mods due to a quite big gameplay change....However, I won't tell you what it is since Juissi and I haven't talked it through properly. So don't go talking about originality.
@zimoo:
Keep it constructive, please...
@jev:
Talking about being constructive...well, thanks a lot for helping us!
I like your list, I think I'm going to paste it into first post and modify it a bit. I wonder, though, who has given you those Mordor minifactions, I wouldn't think they're quite correct. I'll fix that when I add it above

And... I know the new gameplay feature Caluadan is talking about, and I am already considering implementing it in my mod with a different feature attached... (don't worry Mak and Cal, since you got the idea first, I won't use it if you don't want me to, but if its a good idea, then why not share! )
EDIT:
hmmm.... Caluadan, you left out some neat concepts
---KHAZAD-DUM---
Grey Mountains: Dwarven Citadel (weak version of summoned citadel, can not build hubs)
Iron Hills: Dwarven Wrath (uncontrollable fear)
---NUMENOR---
North-Men: Muster for Battle (unit production speed increases)
Khazad-dum doesn't need a minifaction ally with an economy bonus (unless it is Eregion) because they have an inexhaustible supply!
Also, Brown Lands was a new name for Eastern Wastelands (which is obviously really long ) You were going for nomadic cult wildmen, so I gave them a temple that could activate certain spells.
Whithered Heath could still have weather effects, I like the idea of being able to summon a storm (different from freezing rain)... maybe make the lighting turn red when activated if possible...

the reason I'm not adding them all is not that they're bad ideas or lack originality, it's just that they don't fit in with the idea I have for the minifactions (and how their upgrades are supposed to work).Mordor minifactions were never set in stone, so I just went with what it looked like Makaveli wanted...

some of your suggestions are more suitable for power trees, and I'll think of them when it comes to those powers.

@Matias & Zimoo: People may find your sarcasm offending... I know I found them offending and I know someone else who says that people here are 'mean' because of your comments... Everyone has their own opinions, and the attitude you guys are using often is taken as flaming... Yes Goblins as spam aren't original, but can you think of a better use for them? Yes I think that upgrades for each faction is fun, that does not mean I don't like unique ideas. Some people don't notice things, kindly remind them and don't make fun of them...
I honestly don't care if my posts offend others.
If you are saying that each minifaction should have a different effect, (eg one gives economy bonuses, another gives upgrades, another acts as defense, another allows wall building (for Mordor), another gives special spells a player can use, another reveals the map, another generates uncontrollable fear to nearby enemies (seige guys could kill this one), and yet another changes map condition (eg. to rain wink.gif ) ) then I think that is a great idea...
That's exactly what I'm saying. Giving all mini-factions the same type of effect is very dull imo, whereas giving them all slightly different improvements based on lore is more interesting. Of course some minis will have overlapping upgrades, but I certainly don't agree with each mini-faction having an economy power.

and after all, some rebelliousness won't hurt anyone.
some internet discussion will hardly change anyone's attitude anyway

@Jev: Thanks for input but about the minifactions, but about Mordor minifactions. Yes those are pretty much the minifactions that I wanted but I wont use Corrupted Wild name but I wont use Withered Heath neither because I dont want minifactions to give acces to dragons but I want to have minifaction with the Fellbeasts. Not the beasts as we know them from Third Age but earlier stages of them. Smaller and little model and skin edits to them will do
@zimoo: I also want to have unique upgrade for all of them, if I do the upgrades that is but that seems to happen but they wont all be economic upgrades, thats quite clear
@Caluadan: Very good work with the art, the comp that I was using at my vacation didnt show the pics right so finally I saw them
@Lord of the Grunts: It couldnt have been Goblins minifaction because there aint no Goblin faction in LA
But now I think everything is cleared and if I remember correctly I saw Jev and Cal talking about the new system that we MIGHT put in that will change the bfme2 around so much that you might aswell call 2emfb Not really but its cool

"And... I know the new gameplay feature Caluadan is talking about"
And I dont mind JEV even if EVERY other mod would use that idea because ideas are something that can be shared and I doubt that Cal has copyrighted the idea yet
But aint that pretty nice idea. I wonder where is the office that handles this copyright kind of stuff
