i was also the proud owner of a microsoft zune, until it was stolen that is ;)

i was amzed by it - the video was fantastic, and it was perhaps the best way for me to impress the ladies with my artwork :p

the screen was fantastic, and i never had any problems putting movies or songs on there at all. the Zune media player is nice too (beats the hell outta iTunes) and keeping everything organized is nice and easy. i still wish i had mine, it's just too bad there's so many scumbags out there.

now let's get something straight - i hate microsoft, windows, and bill gates. i have no problem with the zune because i never had any problems with it, unlike most other microsoft products. i will still take a zune before an ipod any day, and i think that if your looking for something truly extraordinary and unlike anything else that anyone has, get a zune. i was one of three people in a school of 1500 with one, and prolly 95% of that 1500 had ipods, so when you show people what that zune could do they were usually amazed at the display quality of the screen as well as how cool it was in general.

It's an MP3 player, I dunno about the rest of the MP3 player owning public but mine have ALWAYS stayed in my pocket. Screen quality, video quality, gadgets and all that shit don't sway me. The fact you could get 80gb iPods got me to buy it, disc size is more important to me than anything else in an mp3 player.

Well I can fill a 20gig without even blinking and still have more songs to put on...admittedly I'd have to go some to fill an 80-gigger but I can see it being more than feasible.

$200 with 32 megs capacity. That would be 250 for a gig, or 300 for 4 gigs ^_^

Aye, the Zune itself is a work of art, and it doesn't need that shiny-ass cover on it. Not so sure about the software, though, it just feels like a buggier version of Windows Media Player. Of course, it could be that is because I'm running Vista on my comp (I had to get a new PC, it came preinstalled! :( ).

@ Hobbes: Tell me, does it have 14 hours of battery life while listening to music? Can it squeeze out 8 hours of video-watching goodness? Does it have the capacity to trade songs with a friend's Zune, without having to hook up to anything? I rest my case. :p I don't need to play games on it, that's what a DS is for. :sad2:

OLD SIG
When history witnesses a great change Razgriz reveals itself,
first as a dark demon. As a demon it uses it power to rain death upon the land,
and then it dies. However after a period of slumber Razgriz returns
As the demon sleeps, man turns on man.
Its own blood, and madness soon cover the earth.
From the depths of despair awaken the Razgriz.
Its raven wings ablaze in majestic light.
Amidst the eternal waves of time
From a ripple of change shall the storm rise
Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon
Behold the Razgriz, its wings of black sheath
The demon soars through the dark skies
Fear and Death trail its shadow beneath
Until Men united wield a hallowed sabre
In Final Reckoning, the beast is slain.

Yes, if you have movies you can have 8 hours of video. Ah, and there is also Youtube which you can connect to with the internet browser. Of course you hate Sony so its pointless to argue.
