Hi, I have a question about unit stats on the mod webpage - are these stats relevant to actual gameplay stats? Thanks.

P.S. Oops, sorry - found answer on the petroglyph forums. Sounds very promising!

Yeah, they're up to date and identical to in-game stats in the current version (not necessarily the most current release version).

If the stats on the website are releavnt to the fireing power of the ships in the game why does the Eclipsenot have any weapons but the super laser :ninja: :D

thats probably the one exception to the rule - the model for the Eclipse (i believe) only has the one bone - for the superlaser, so until Phoenix gets a new model (with more bones) he cant add any of the other weapons.

Meh, I reduced the price and space population to compensate.

Do you think you could mod the Eclipse from the game to have it's other weapons, and is it possible that you could make the planet "unstable" with it's superlaser and have it be a molten planet, thus not being able to have any battles there but being able to have really high pressure and high temperture resistance mining facilites that could mine the planet that would be able to get in more credits than a regular mining facility(but also be more expensive to build then regular mining facilties because of it having to withstand those things) on regular planets since all of these minerals and resources are sprouting out of the core to the planet's surface??? Ugh but then also some planets would turn into water planets like Naboo if you did that. Just a thought though :p
But I don't know if that would be possible...

From the game? No. It will require a new model.

and is it possible that you could make the planet "unstable" with it's superlaser and have it be a molten planet

That's not really possible. The engine doesn't offer that much functionality, not without the source code.
