So with all the movies beeing made for Remix3, I thought that we needed a thread for them.

If that's in the movie, you should have some other short clips in it, cause I don't think anyone will want to watch the infantry drop for all that time. You should just put in like 1 sec battle scenes and things so that it's not just seeing a bunch of infantry falling.

the video is too short and bland. you need to show it droppping them all and engaging a load of enemies.
possibley lots of tanks and infantry. not just on a commend centre with a dozer. that was fairly boring tbh

what you need to show is saturation bombing from airforce gen, that tis da shit.

its just a clip though, if every one posted clips this process would go faster.

I've also gathered up 29 good clips of assorted Tank General and Laser General combat scenes. 16 minutes worth even. It was around 60 clips, but I deleted most of them once I screened them after the fact. Some have sound, some are silent. Once put to music it will hardly matter.

I'm going to get a few more soon. I wasn't planning on getting alot of clips myself, but I haddn't played in a long time, and its been fun just to play. the movies are a bonus.

Fraps, full reg. to reduce the lag while capturing I've scaled the game down to 1024x768 and I'm recording in "half-size" 30fps

I still need to convert and compress the video files. the 16 minutes I've got is 3 GIG!

it would be a 1 minute clip, pumped with action and really fast, then at the end, the logo remix 3.

it would give the mod, more of a professional feel.
ill make the whole clip, but only if your up for it.

If you can make something good enough to deserve to be played every time the game starts, sure, I guess... but I'm of the same mindframe as pheonix, I don't want anything slowing down my loadtime unless its really amazing.

My first movie... This version features Tank, Laser, Robot, and SupW.

Once I've gotten clips from all 8 generals I'll start working on a "final" version.

Worth note, it took 58 clips and 28 minutes of raw video (uncompressed its 8GB) to create a 3 minute video worth watching.

Th share clips for editing we're going to have to pass the AVI files back and forth... so I don't know how practical it will be. I think the best cliplets should be shared, but we'll each be responsable for our own filler footage.

if i saw that i would download it.

a suggestion thou for another video-include the fanfir mech raping a whole base and loads of units, and a retrobution tank massacaring infantry. and definatly aif force gens last superweapon.

Put the hydrogen bombs at the end, not the tomohalk storm. You don't want the big destructive weapon in the middle with a not so amazing ending weapon. Other than that nice movie!

Olli, the strategic bombing was in there. Somewhere in the middle, and not much was shown, he doesn't want to show the majority of the major superweapons.

when i get to film mine, ill get a friend and we will do it on lan, that way we can get some awesome staged battle scenes filmed, with micro.
