no lol im talking about, as if one person in under influence of rules and one is not, u build differently when under certain rules if u understand me. so say were doin no rush, that means in the first 5 minutes or so we wont have any defences or ground units. but say the other team decide to make jsut a barracks waste all money on men, then try kill u, thats just gay, so i just quit like i said before, but if we are doin no rules then we both make same sort of stuff and game goes on longer, i get pissed off at cheaters that way and also bug abusers (scud bug)
this is where I have to 100% disagree... I build exactly the same, I even build my skermish/rush combat groups, but instead of attacking the enemy I rally them in clusters all over the map. the 5 minutes is also used to build an expansion base at every resource point on the map. and I build all my defenses just like I normaly would. At the end of 5 minutes I have SEVERAL attack waves and tech2 superweapons charging.... and its my total expectation that someone will break the 5 minute rule, so I stay ready. If the break it I don't have to bitch... I just show them how ready to go I was.
Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

I played a game once were this one guy was going to show me and this other guy how to do it.how does the SCUD bug work again?

Background process. Has something to do with some activity going on somewhere. Sorting junkmail, I think. No value or interest. Doesn't do much except hog resource.

good tactic pendalouse, but when i have certain rules in place i stick to them and also have strategys based on them, if thers no rush, then i try and expand quickly and get a good econony, then after about 5 minutes of playing, i have around 10 supply zones or 2 full internet centres. then in the 6th minute i have tons of men and tanks comming, also at everyone secondary money site. is a production base of about 2 war factorys 2 barracks and defence sites. as i have good money coming in now in around thr 7th or 8th min i have men queed in every building and defence sites all over the map, by then ive probably been attacked once cos rush was over by 5 mins, but i was ready as i had a few units. but what i was implying is a 20 second rush attack, when the rules are clearly there. the guy had no money at the end and only a barracks, so he was out of the game if u understand me.
the scud bug is when u make it shoot when its not charged ill tell u step by step how its done lol
dont use it unless the other guy is cheating some way
put a scud building down, but dont build it just move the worker away and leave it at 0%
then get a combat unit that can shoot and give it a group 1 in this case
then select the scud building and give it a group, 2 in this case
then deselect everything
then hold down shift and press the groups u gave the unit and building in this case u press shift 1then 2
then give the selection a group just give it 1
now both the scud and unit have got the same group deselect everything
now click the combat unit and see if he is still able to be force fired
if he can then once the scud it built it will fire with him, if he cant force fire try it again
once u have confirmed he can fire once the above has been done finish the scud off, then when its made force fire the group and the scud will shoot to, dont let the combat unit die or the bug wont work anymore

And i agree with pend no matter what the rules i will always build my defences and such from the start.
If someone says 5 min peace time it only makes me have free time to build them without rushing too much is all.

look at it this way, what am I supposed to do? make the scud storm (and like weapons) unselectable??? Its an option, but it sucks. instead we are forced to count on other players not being complete dicks. Thats dangerous I know, but its still the best we have.
If you know how to fix it, please share with me...

just exit the match, note down the persons name and tell every on the forum who it was so no one plays with them.
if they are on a Hamachi network managed by some one, inform the manager and they can get a ban from that network.

Its generaly the same weapon only diff damage and model.
So the code is similer right?
IF tomahawk does not hatve this bug then why would scud?
